Theme of the Seminar
 
The role of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has been growing very rapidly. Information and Communication Technologies are one of the basic priorities of Research and Development (R&D) in the information society. In recent years, impact of ICT on business and economic environment have been widely addressed by policy makers, technology developers, and business societies. The challenge of adapting ICT include sustaining current operations, overcoming incumbency, market dynamics, risk management and funding transition. Studies of the socio-economic impact of ICT cover a wide spectrum of questions. ICT has changed and will further transform not only the nature of work and communications, but also the ways of organizing the enterprise wide business activities. It is expected that ICT will eliminate the existing limits between economic relations and nteraction, and will create new ways of communication, new types of market relations and will provide new opportunities to mobilize activities and expand spaces of interaction. In order to evaluate the impact of ICT on business, it is necessary to consider internal and external success factors. ICT has changed almost all the facets of business including marketing, finance control, production and delivery processes. Therefore, this seminar will focus on the various issues and emerging challenges in ICT development and how businesses are going to realize the opportunities that ICT can bring.
 
Objectives of the Seminar
   
1. To provide a platform to discuss various emerging issues and challenges in ICT sector.
2. To encourage collaborative learning and interface amongst researchers.
3. To generate research ideas.
4. To share practical insights.
 
Call for Papers
 
Empirical, Conceptual,Research-in-Progress and Case Studies are invited on the following suggested sub themes. However, it is not limited to these themes. Papers in other related areas are also welcomed.

Theme of the Seminar
 
The prevailing worldwide economic conditions witness high fluctuations that in turn pose great challenges for the corporate managers. In the context of present turbulent economic scenario, the seminar aims at gaining the knowledge, both theoretical and empirical for managing the business under fluctuating and unpredictable environmental conditions. With competition taking a new turn every day, organizations need to focus on their capability enhancement in every sphere whether it is in Human Resources, Marketing, Finance or Operations and resolve all issues pertaining to management of all capabilities that an organization may possess. Equally significant are the ongoing developments in Information and Communication Technology. In the globalized era, it is just impossible to imagine the success of any business without the use of IT. Previous years have witnessed an explosive demand for IT enabled services in the sectors such as telecom, banking, insurance, retail, health care, tourism and automobiles etc. Contribution of IT to the success of corporate world and taking Indian economy at new height; is well understood/known. Therefore, this seminar will also focus on the various issues and emerging challenges of IT sector.
