A great visionary with tremendous personal charisma. Simple and humble, Sri Naveen Agarwal possessed profound wisdom & nobility that always stood the test of time.


Modest, wistful and endearing are a few of the adjectives that best describe Sri Naveen Agarwal. Be it adult or children, rich or poor, to him, it was people who mattered as he embraced one and all with open arms. Sri Naveen Agarwal was living testimony of what an ordinary citizen fueled by the enterprise and driven by determination can achieve in his own lifetime. He was a philanthropist and above all a great human being endowed with great compassion and concern for the underprivileged sections of the society.

During the 15 years that he guided of the Unison Group, he pioneered the Group's involvement in education and allied fields. The Unison Group today stands tall with interests varying from education and philanthropy to hospitality. Sri Naveen Agarwal's many contributions in the fields of education and business symbolized all that is best in the Unison spirit of giving back to society and the communities in which its enterprises grow. As a fitting tribute, the Sri Naveen Agarwal Charitable Trust, the premier charitable endowment of the Unison Group, has been created, propelling the family tradition of philanthropy.

We are fortunate to have had a man of Sri Naveen Agarwal's stature as our founder chairman whose sterling leadership qualities, remarkable foresight, compromising pursuit of excellence, humility, prodigious capacity to motivate and trust people will continue to guide and inspire future generations at Unison.

The Bhagwad Gita states, "The actions of a great man are an inspiration for others, whatever he does, becomes a standard for others to follow." This certainly applies to Sri Naveen Agarwal ji. We are proud and privileged to inherit this invaluable legacy. The Unison group is a living testimony to his indomitable will, single-minded dedication and unrelenting commitment to his goals.

Truly, men like Sri Naveen Agarwal are rare. They come gifted with the power and the vision to change the destiny of people, to alter the course of academic history. They are the stuff that legends are made of. The legend called Sri Naveen Agarwal will never die. His spirit will live on forever.
