Convocation Ceremony
We look forward eagerly to our 5th Convocation, as it symbolizes a return to some form of normalcy. The dark days of COVID had deprived us and the students from physical presence and face-to-face interactions between teachers and students that symbolize university education. It is indeed a delight to be back in touch with all our students.
This year’s Convocation includes the presence of Professor Neelu Rohmetra, Director of IIM as a Guest of Honour and the Chief Guest would be our Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Gurdip Singh. We would award Degree to 638 students across the five Schools and award Gold Medals to the top rank holders of all the nine programs.
The 4th Convocation of IMS Unison University (IUU) held on October 19, 2020 in virtual mode, witnessed a landmark celebration in which a total of 600 degrees and nine gold medals were conferred. This has made IUU the first private University in Uttarakhand to conduct an online Convocation. Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand Smt. Baby Rani Maurya was the Chief Guest of the Ceremony. The Chief Guest also released the Souvenir on this auspicious occasion.
Prof. Gautam Sinha welcomed the Chief Guest, all other dignitaries, graduating students, their family members and media persons and expressed gratitude for their gracious virtual presence. He congratulated all the 600 graduating students and wished them a bright future.
During the Convocation, a total of 638 students shall be awarded Degrees as per the following:
