Industrial Visit to Cliff Climber

Practical Learning is an integral part of MBA Program at IMS Unison University and to provide this exposure, students of MBA first year made a tour to Cliff Climber on Saturday, 24 December 2022. Students learnt about the business model and automated relationship marketing process through which its products are sold to a unique set of customers which include the Indian army and the adventurers. The students were guided through the production process and were made aware about the quality control with minute detailing of the entire process. The students participated actively and enthusiastically asking questions about different areas of management such as marketing, human resource, purchase systems and operations. Their inquisitive approach was highly appreciated by the company executives who willingly responded with same enthusiasm to all the queries raised by the students. The students learnt about the entrepreneurial approach used by the company in achieving their objectives and the ways of dealing with present and future competition. The tour to the factory enlightened them with contemporary management practices in modern times maintaining the cultural and practical value system.
