At IUU, we are committed to preparing industry-ready students. Our belief is rooted in the holistic development of students, focusing on academic excellence, physical well-being, and psychological growth. Additionally, we conduct value-added programs in association with leading professional trainers.
IUU has established partnerships with several organisations, which are instrumental in aligning our students' skills with industry expectations.   • IUU has forged a partnership with Benchmark Six Sigma, the only RABQSA-certified training provider in India, to offer the prestigious Green Belt Six Sigma Certification Program to its students. Benchmark Six Sigma, a renowned consulting and certification firm, has been offering Six Sigma Certification Programs in India since 2001. This course is designed to impart skills essential for business process improvement, superior delivery performance, and optimisation of operating costs. Professionals equipped with these skills are vital for companies striving to compete effectively and achieve sustainable growth in the global market.

Subscriptions for Academic Session 2024-2025

  • IUU is a proud member of DELNET, which primarily aims to promote resource-sharing among libraries by developing a network. DELNET's mission includes collecting, storing, and disseminating information, offering computerised services to users, coordinating collection development, and minimising unnecessary duplication. Through DELNET, users can access millions of networked library resources, including a union catalogue of over 289 million books available for loan, 38,184 journals, 20,235 periodicals, a database of over 1.1 million articles, 130,753 theses and dissertations, a CD-ROM database of 61,750 titles, and a union list of 1,025 video and sound recordings.
  • HeinOnline Platinum is a premier online database with more than 186 million pages and 287,000 titles of historical and government documents in a searchable, image-based format. It offers comprehensive coverage from the inception of over 2,800 law-related periodicals. The database includes the Congressional Record, Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, complete U.S. Reports back to 1754, and databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents, and more.
  • IUU subscribes to URKUND, an advanced, fully automatic machine-learning text-recognition system for detecting, preventing, and handling plagiarism in any language. This system enables faculty members and research scholars to check online for plagiarised material. Documents sent via email by students are checked against the Internet, published materials, and student submissions. If similarities are found, the system flags potential plagiarism, and an analysis overview is emailed to the concerned teacher.
  • Shodhganga@INFLIBNET, developed by MIT in partnership with Hewlett-Packard, uses DSpace, an open-source digital repository software. It provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their Ph.D. theses, making them available to the scholarly community in open access. This repository can capture, index, store, disseminate, and preserve electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs).
  • The National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources, sponsored and mentored by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, under the NMEICT. It employs filtered and federated searching to facilitate focused and efficient resource finding. NDLI caters to different user groups, including school and college students, job aspirants, researchers, and general learners, offering content in multiple languages and interface support for 10 widely used Indian languages. It supports all academic levels, disciplines, access devices, and accommodates differently-abled learners. Developed, operated, and maintained by the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, NDLI enables learners to access best practices from around the world and supports researchers in multi-source exploration.

Spiritual & Cultural Alliance & Partnership

  • IUU regularly collaborates with SPIC MACAY to host cultural programs for its students. SPIC MACAY, known for promoting Indian culture, organises events featuring nationally and internationally renowned artists. These programs offer an eclectic mix of captivating performances by maestros in Indian Classical Music, Drama, Instrumental Music, Puppet Shows, Dance, and more. Such events play a crucial role in conserving and promoting awareness of India's rich cultural heritage among the youth.

Memberships

  • IUU proudly holds membership in the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), an organisation dedicated to fostering a conducive environment for industrial growth in India. Our faculty and students actively engage in various CII activities, interacting with industry experts to stay abreast of the latest developments. This engagement is pivotal in maintaining robust University-Industry partnerships.
  • Additionally, IUU is a member of the PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a dynamic and proactive multi-state apex organisation with strong national and international linkages. It acts as a catalyst in promoting industry, trade, and entrepreneurship, contributing significantly to the nation's economic growth through research-based policy advocacy. Our faculty and students participate in activities hosted by the PhD Chamber of Commerce, addressing various industry-related issues. In collaboration with PHDCCI, IUU regularly organises programs focusing on investor awareness, entrepreneurship, and other relevant topics.
  • As a registered member of the All India Management Association (AIMA), IUU leverages AIMA's MAT/UGAT scores for admissions to its Management programs. Our faculty and students are actively involved in AIMA’s management-related activities and initiatives, including Management Development Programs, Special Conferences, and Research & Development projects.
  • IUU is also a member of the National HRD Network (NHRD) and has access to its extensive resources. NHRD Network is an association of professionals dedicated to promoting the HRD movement in India and enhancing the capabilities of HR professionals.

  • IUU subscribes to Microsoft's Campus Agreement and Dreamspark Academic Alliance, offering access to a suite of software packages developed by Microsoft, including MS Office, Windows 10, and Microsoft Visual Studio/Visual Basic/Visual C++. These products are automatically upgraded to the latest versions upon release by Microsoft.
  • Additionally, IUU maintains a regular subscription to EBSCO's online database, a widely used premium online information resource globally. This database includes extensive collections relating to journals, magazines, newspapers, research reports, and more. Specifically, EBSCO's Business Source Elite Full Text offers access to over 2,200 journals, company profiles, industry reports, and market research reports. The Communication and Mass Media Complete segment covers indexing and abstracts for more than 620 journals and full text for over 500 journals. Furthermore, the EBSCO e-Books Academic Collection comprises over 118,000 titles.
  • IUU is also a regular subscriber to SCC OnLine®, an extensive database of Indian law, statute law, and related materials. This service features a high-performance search engine and a user-friendly interface, benefiting both students and faculty members.
  • Lastly, IUU subscribes to the LexisNexis® online database, a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions. It caters to professionals in legal, risk management, corporate, government, law enforcement, accounting, and academic fields. LexisNexis offers billions of searchable documents and records from more than 45,000 legal, news, and business sources.
