  • IUU has a tie-up with Benchmark Six Sigma, the only RABQSA certified training provider in India, for conducting the prestigious Green Belt Six Sigma Certification Program for its students. Benchmark Six Sigma is a leading consulting and certification firm offering Six Sigma Certification Programs in India since 2001. This course aims at imparting skills for business process improvement; superior delivery performance; and optimizing operating costs. Professionals with such skills can help a company effectively compete & achieve sustainable growth in the global scenario.

  • IUU is a member of DELNET. The prime objective of DELNET is to promote resource-sharing through the development of a network of libraries. It aims to collect, store and disseminate information, besides offering computerized services to users to coordinate efforts for suitable collection development and also to reduce unnecessary duplication wherever possible. Users can access millions of networked Library resources through DELNET which has over 2,89,25,435 Union catalogue of books available for loan, along with Union List of Journals 38,184, Union Catalogue of 20,235 periodicals, Database of 11,06,228 articles, Database of 1,30,753 theses and dissertations, CD-ROM Database of 61,750 titles and Union List of 1,025 video and sound recordings.
  • HeinOnline Platinum is a premier online database containing more than 186 million pages and 287,000 titles of historical and government documents in a fully searchable, image-based format. HeinOnline bridges an important research gap by providing comprehensive coverage from inception of more than 2,800 law-related periodicals. In addition to its vast collection of academic journals, HeinOnline contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports reaching back to 1754 and entire databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents and much more.
  • IUU is a subscriber to URKUND, Urkund is a fully-automatic machine learning text-recognition system made for detecting, preventing and handling plagiarism, no matter which language you are writing in. It facilitates our faculty members and research scholars to check for plagiarised material online. The students send their documents to their teachers by e-mail. Along the electronic route between student and teacher, the documents are checked against three central source areas: Internet, published material and student material. If any document displays similarities with the content in the three sources, the system will flag it for possible plagiarism. An analysis overview is generated and sent by e-mail to the teacher concerned, presenting in a simplified form the information needed by the teacher in order to determine if plagiarism has occurred.
  • Shodhganga: The Shodhganga@INFLIBNET is set-up using an open source digital repository software called DSpace developed by MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in partnership between Hewlett- Packard (HP). The DSpace uses internationally recognized protocols and interoperability standards. Shodhganga provides a platform for research scholars to deposit their Ph.D. theses and make it available to the entire scholarly community in open access. The repository has the ability to capture, index, store, disseminate and preserve ETDs (Electronic Theses and Dissertations) submitted by the researchers.
  • National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

Spiritual & Cultural Alliance & Partnership

  • IUU regularly hosts cultural programs of SPIC MACAY for its students. SPIC MACAY promotes Indian culture by organizing cultural programs by nationally/internationally famous artists. These include an eclectic mix of enthralling performances by maestros of Indian Classical Music, Drama, Instrument Playing, Puppet Show, Dance, etc., and contribute towards the conserving and promotion of awareness about the Indian cultural heritage amongst the youth.

  • IUU is a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) that works to create and sustain an environment conducive to the growth of the industry in India. Our faculty members and students regularly participate in various activities conducted by CII and interact with the industry experts on the latest developments in the industry. It helps us in maintaining University-Industry partnerships.
  • IUU is a member of Ph.D. Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a proactive and dynamic multi-state apex organization working at the grass-root level and with strong national and international linkages, acts as a catalyst in the promotion of industry, trade, and entrepreneurship, and positively impacts the economic growth and development of the nation through its research-based policy advocacy role. This facilitates the participation of our faculty and students in the activities conducted by the Ph.D. Chamber of Commerce on the various issues relating to the industry. IUU, in association with PHDCCI, regularly organizes various programs like Investor Awareness, Entrepreneurship, etc.
  • IUU is a registered member of the All India Management Association (AIMA) and utilizes AIMA's MAT/UGAT scores for admissions to its Management programs. Our faculty and students regularly participate in its various management-related activities and initiatives such as Management Development Programs, Special Conferences, and Research & Development.
  • IUU is a member of NHRD and has the access to its resources. NHRD Network is an association of professionals committed to promoting the HRD movement in the country and enhancing the capability of professionals.

  • IUU is the subscriber of Microsoft's Campus Agreement and Dreamspark Academic Alliance which is a bundle of various software packages developed by Microsoft such as MS Office, Windows 10, Microsoft Visual Studio/Visual Basic/ Visual C++, etc. These products are automatically upgraded as and when a new version is launched by the company.
  • IUU is a regular subscriber of EBSCO's online database. EBSCO's databases and discovery technologies are the most-used premium online information resources for tens of thousands of institutions worldwide, representing millions of end-users. It contains the databases relating to Journals, Magazines, Newspapers, Research reports, etc. EBSCO - Business Source Elite Full text has more than 22,00 Journals, Company Profiles, Industry Reports and Market Research Reports, Communication and Mass Media Complete Cover indexing and abstracts for more than 620 Journals, Full text for over 500 Journals, and EBSCO e-Books Academic Collection of over 1,18,000 titles.
  • IUU is a regular subscriber of SCC OnLine® which has an extensive database of Indian law, statute law, and other material, with a high-performance search engine and familiar user- friendly interface for the benefit of its student and faculty members.
  • IUU is a regular subscriber of the LexisNexis® online database. It is a leading global provider of content-enabled workflow solutions for professionals in the legal, risk management, corporate, government, law enforcement, accounting, and academic markets. LexisNexis provides billions of searchable documents and records from more than 45,000 legal, news and business sources.
