the Head

Dr. Madhu Prabakaran is a multidisciplinary scholar having 26 years of experience in teaching, research, training, and management. He has pursued various fields of interests such as English Literature, Social Sciences, Social Philosophy, Social Work, Human Resource Management, Management in Government, Social Development, Anthropology, Ecological Conservation, Education, and Spiritual Studies and has published papers in these fields too. He believes social sciences can be disciplinary as well as transdisciplinary as they are connected through methodology, which explains his interest in Liberal Arts. He is an alumnus of Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, University of Calicut, and a Ph.D. Scholar from Mahatma Gandhi University. He served in government projects of agriculture entrepreneurship, local administration, forest conservation, and urban development in various capacities as a project manager or consultant. He worked with Kerala Institute of Local Administration Mahatma Gandhi University, Amity University, and also in the School of Communication and Management Studies in senior positions. Before Joining IMS Unison he was an Academic Dean of Lorven St. Xaviers College at Bangalore.
