  • Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava
    Professor & Pro Vice Chancellor

    Experience: 28 Years
    Dr. Ravikesh Srivastava was working as Professor of Economics and Dean, Academics at IMT Ghaziabad since July 2016 to Oct 2018. With responsibility of Dean Academics, he was responsible for overall academic activities at the institute including faculty recruitment and faculty development, curriculum delivery in each program, research & consultancy and accreditation & rankings, etc. Prior to this, he has worked as Professor of Economics and Head, International Accreditation at S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai for almost three years. At SPJIMR, apart from teaching & research, he was involved with strategic planning and its implementation to ensure quality global academic standards as per requirement of AACSB, EQUIS and others. Before joining SPJIMR, he has worked as Professor of Economics & Strategy with FORE School of Management, New Delhi for almost 10 years where he has served with various Academic Administrative positions including Chairman, Post Graduate Program. He had also served as head, Center of Research and Program Director for Executive MBA at FORE. He has a rich academic experience of around 28 years in teaching, research, consultancy, MDPs and Academic Administration. Prior to FORE, Dr. Srivastava had served at IIM Lucknow and State University, Madhya Pradesh. His areas of interest are Strategy, Economics, Business Environment, Development Economics and International Business. He has published 25 national and international research papers in journals of repute. He has also co-authored a best selling book with Dominic Salvatore titled, ‘Managerial Economics - Principles and Worldwide Applications’, published by Oxford University Press, 2008 and 2012. Besides, he has produced more than 15 Impact Reports (on primary research analysis) for various development projects. He has supervised three PhD students in the area of Management. At IIM Lucknow, he led various World Bank consulting projects like NATP, DASP and IWDP-Jammu & Kashmir and was responsible for Strategy development, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment. Dr. Srivastava also did consultancy for leading public and private companies like Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Gujarat Heavy Chemicals Ltd, Hindustan Sanitary and Industries Ltd and Maruti Suzuki.

    Professor Suneel Gupta has done his post-graduation in Economics MBA with specialization in marketing, and Doctorate in Management. He has more than 29 years of experience in the field of Academics, Research, Career Management, and Academic Administration. Previously he has served as Professor and Dean- Academics in a previous assignment. Has taught subjects which includes Business Environment, Microeconomics, Macro Economics, International Economics, International Business Management, Research Methodology and Market Research. He has written 25+ research paper in ABDC, Scopus and other reputed journals. He also worked as chairperson of CMC "Career Management Centre". He has worked at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow, GHSIMR, Kanpur and SMS, Lucknow. His area of interest are Economics, Business Environment. International Economics and international Business. As a professional, his birth took place in the educational sector. Teaching Economics and International Business for the last 29 years along with academic administration, placements & training of students. He loves to shape up the future for young adult in the world of employment through work experience and industry making a difference and seeking positive outcomes.

  • Dr. Gaurav Chopra*

    Dr Gaurav Chopra is an Assistant Professor at IMS Unison University. He is MBA, Ph.D. and UGC (NET) qualified to have a diversified experience of more than 6 years in teaching and research. He has to his credit three research papers published in peer-reviewed journals which includes a publication in Scopus indexed journal published by Emerald. He has participated in Seminars, Conferences, and FDPs organized by institutions of eminence and completed a “Refresher Course in Economics” from the National Resource Centre, Shri Ram College of Commerce. Dr Chopra has actively participated in workshops conducted on data analysis techniques like SPSS, Structural Equation Modelling through AMOS, R programming, and financial econometrics using E-Views. His areas of teaching interest include Economics, Business Analytics, and e-Learning.

  • Dr. Arpna Ratnakar

    Dr. Arpna Ratnakar has completed her Ph.D. from Department of Environmental Science of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (Central University) Lucknow and did her Master’s in Environmental Science from G B Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand. She was awarded UGC- NET in 2013 and RGNF-JRF Doctoral fellowship for the year 2014. She is having expertise in phytoremediation, soil and plant analysis heavy metal and pesticide analysis, vegetation biodiversity study and hazardous waste management.

Her areas of specialization includes Business Economics and Quantitative Techniques.

  • Ms. Tapasi Mohanty

    Ms. Tapasi Mohanty has completed her Master and M.Phil. in Economics from Department of A&A Economics, Utkal University. She was awarded with ICSSR Doctoral Fellowship in 2017 and continued her Ph.D in the same university and submitted her thesis in September 2022. She has qualified NET in June 2019. About her research experience, she has worked as a field investigator, consultant in various research project. She has worked as an Assistant Professor of Economics BIITM, Bhubaneswar.

    Prof. (Dr) Vinay Rana has vast experience in Hospitality Industry, Academics, and Research, spanning over 28 years. He is a well-respected trainer in hospitality education and has established and developed various professional hospitality institutes in Northern India. He started his career in the capacity of a chef, and worked in various prestigious hotel properties, both, in India & overseas. Indian Hospitality Congress has conferred the “Aspiring Researcher Welcome Award’’ to Dr Vinay Rana for the year 2015-16. In the year 2016, he received the “Educator of the year Award 2016” by International Society for Hospitality Education and he is also the recipient of “Global Hospitality Leadership Award 2018”, “Academic and Research Excellence Award 2019,” and ‘Global Hospitality Award 2019 (-Best Mentor in Hospitality Education), felicitated at International Conferences. He has authored/ co-authored/ edited nine books on hospitality subjects and contributed chapters to four hospitality and tourism books. His research interest is on hospitality education, hospitality operations management, human resource planning and hospitality marketing.   • Dr. Amit Tariyal

He has worked with various international hotels including Shangri-La, New Delhi, Radisson MBD, Noida, and other prestigious institutions.     Mr. Sumit Pratap is an Assistant Professor in the School of Hospitality Management at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. Mr. Pratap holds two master’s degrees, one in Hotel Management and the other in Tourism and Travel Management. He has a four-year bachelor's degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology. Mr. Pratap has held managerial positions with some notable brands, including the Langham Hotel in Auckland and Domino's Pizza India Limited. He has more than 19 years of extensive expertise in both operations and academia.     Dr. Abhay Chamoli is an Assistant Professor in the School of Hospitality Management at IMS Unison University Dehradun. Dr. Chamoli completed his Ph.D. in Hotel Management from Swami Vivekanand Subharti University Meerut, UP. He has published four kitchen and bar equipment patents, two book chapters, and seven research papers in peer-reviewed journals, including those indexed in UGC Care,ABDC and Scopus. He is a certified "Food Handler" with a Diploma in Food Safety &Nutrition along with HACCP (FSC) Certification (FSM S) From London (UK). His areas of interest are Food Science, Menu Engineering, and Provincial and International Cuisines. Chef Chamoli had academic associations with prestigious hotel management institutions of the region and maintained industrial associations with renowned hotel brands like Cidade de Goa, Oberoi's (Udaivillas), Crowne Plaza Gurgaon, Teheran-ro-Intercontinental Hotel Group (Seoul, South Korea), Chook-Dee (Phuket, Thailand), The Imperial (New Delhi) amongst others.     Mr. Devashish Pandey is an Assistant Professor in the School of Hospitality Management at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He is a graduate in Hotel Management from Vel’s IHM - Chennai and is also holds a master’s degree in Hotel Management and is presently pursuing a Ph. D in Management. During his service tenure, he has worked with Hyatt Regency Chennai, Movenpick Hotels Doha, Qatar, Restaurant as Head Chef, IAM-IHM, Guwahati as Food Production Faculty, Lovely Professional University as Assistant Professor and Deputy Academic coordinator and with BFIT Group of Institution as HOD-Hotel Management. He is a specialized in Indian and International cuisine. Mr. Devashish is a member of the World Association of Chefs Society (WACS), a Lifetime member of Indian Culinary Forum (ICF), Indian Federation of Culinary Associations (IFCA)), Lifetime member of Chef Association of Five Rivers, has FOSTAC Certification from FSSAI, and has Certification of Culinary Instructor from AHLEI. He has published 14 research papers in peer-reviewed (National and International journals), UGC CARE-listed journals, Scopus and “ABDC” journals, and has published 5 Patents. Mr. Devashish authored a book by the name of "Essentials of Food Science and Nutrition" and co-authored a book by the name of “Innovation and Essentials of Entrepreneurship”.

    Mr. Shashi Kant is an Assistant Professor in the School of Hospitality Management at IMS Unison University Dehradun. He has graduated from the prestigious IHM Hajipur. Mr. Kant started his career with Taj Hotels & Resorts and joined The Gateway Hotel, Kolkata. During his tenure, he was relocated with Iconic Taj Bengal Alipore, The Gateway Residency Road Bengaluru, Vivanta by Taj MG Road. Passion for teaching and learning motivated Mr. Kant to undertake a career in academics. He is a certified trainer from Bar Smart (Pernod Ricard), the USA which is an exclusive global certification program for bartenders. Mr. Sashi is also an avid online trainer for the food and beverage services domain and runs you-tube channel for budding hoteliers dedicated to food & beverages services and wines. He enjoys teaching and research and very passionately guides his students for a career in the hotel industry.

She has extensive teaching experience in Hospitality Housekeeping Operations. Chef Rahul wali has a Graduate Diploma in Gastronomy from Le Cordon Bleu, Adelaide, South Australia. He is a Life Member of the Indian Culinary Forum and a life member of the Chefs Association of Five Rivers in Punjab.     Dr. Sharma received her Doctorate in Operations Research and Master’s in mathematics from C.C.S. University, Meerut in 2005. She has worked as Associate Professor, School of Natural Science, Addis Ababa, Science & Technology University, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Dept. of Applied Mathematics, Arba Minch University, Ethiopia, East Africa, under United Nations Development Program and Dept. of Mathematics, Meerut College, Meerut. Dr. Sharma has to her credit 17 research publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her research areas include Goal Programming, Transportation Models and Applied Mathematics. She has co-authored three books titled “Management Science”, “Computational Science” and “Linear Algebra”. She is an Academic Member of Communication Institute of Greece, Athens, Europe and Member of Editorial Board Member: International Journal of Current Research Science Technology (IJCRST), International Journal of Mathematics and Its Applications (IJMA) and Indian Journal of Integrated Research and Analysis.

    Dr. Parshuram G Dangwal is Associate Professor in School of Management at IMS Unison University, Dehradun. He is a management professional having over 33 years of experience including, 16 years in industry at the senior level and 17 years in Academics. He is a BE(Mechanical) from the VJTI, Mumbai University, and MAM (Master’s in administration management) from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Sciences, Mumbai University. His areas of interest are Operations Management, Strategic Management, and Business Research Method and he has done his Doctoral research from Pacific University, Udaipur in Quality Management. Dr Dangwal has widely travelled abroad and attended Industrial Exhibitions and technical conferences. He has published research papers on Quality Management in national and international journals and attended and presented research papers in various national and international seminars/conferences.

He also holds MSc- Maths degree with specialization in Statistics from Kumaon University, Nainital and M.Com. from IGNOU. He was been awarded Six Sigma Green Belt by IACT, Noida. He was awarded N.C.C. ‘B’ Certificate. He was awarded by U.P. Govt. for highest number of e-contents contributed in management area on U.P. Higher education digital library. He has more than fifteen years of experience in academics and industry. Dr. Mishra has worked as an Assistant Professor at Institute of Management Studies, Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi for almost 03 years. Prior joining PhD, he has served 11 years of academic activities as an Assistant Coordinator and Academic Counselor at IGNOU Study Center, Varanasi; Faculty at SMU Learning Center, Varanasi; Campus In-charge and Assistant Registrar at MCMT, Varanasi; Guest Lecturer at Govt. Polytechnic, Almora and Jaunpur. He has also three years of corporate experience as a Field Representative Officer (RMS) at Nielsen ORG MARG Pvt Ltd. He has also worked as a TCA on online competitive examination TCS-ION project. One of the highlights of his teaching career was online- teaching as Expert QA, Chegg India for U.S. based student’s problems. He has chaired many positions and wins awards at his undergraduate and post-graduate level.
