Honourable Chancellor Prof. Gurdip Singh visits the School of Mass Communication

Our Honourable Chancellor, Prof. Gurdip Singh, IMS Unison University paid a visit to the newly upgraded Media Labs and interacted with faculty members at the School of Mass Communication.

Welcoming Prof. Gurdip Singh to the school, Dr. Sushil Rai, Associate Dean & Head, SOMC, gave him a walkthrough and demonstration of the Television Production Lab, Photography Lab, Radio Lab, Print Production Lab & Editing Lab.

Prof. Gurdip Singh was demonstrated various state-of-the-art equipment like the highly professional Panasonic 4K video cameras, DataVideo HD 6 Channel Portable Video Streaming Studio, live demo of chroma-keying technique used in news studios, Apple iMac with Final Cut Pro, BLIMP Mic, Gimbals for Mobile Journalism, DJI Mavic Drone Cameras for aerial shoots, 5D Mark-IV DSLR cameras, EF 70-200 2.8 L IS III USM Camera Lens and many more.

The visit concluded with the Chancellor interacting with faculty members. He motivated them to excel academically and work hard to achieve greater heights. He then wished the School good luck for future endeavours.
